Seeking a more rewarding or at least more interesting career after 30 plus years in retail management and merchandising, I began taking scraps and leftovers from remodeling projects around the house and fabricating one of a kind birdhouses. At first just for my own backyard landscape, but soon requests for houses from relatives and friends ultimately lead to offering them for sale to the public at flea markets and art fairs around the San Francisco Bay Area. Having given the architectural scrapes from my own home projects a new life, I needed raw materials for more houses. I now spend many hours at home deconstruction sales and demolition events, as well as scouring the countryside for cast off items that can bring interest to a particular project. You are invited to view my current work by appointment at my shop, contact me and we can set up a convenient time, I am also happy to come to your site if you need help in creating the right element to add to your landscape plan. Send me a note and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
